After bringing his family together for a Friday photo shoot with the Tampa Bay Times, Armwood ATH Alvin Bailey was asked if he cared to announce his college finalists.
After a sheepish grin and a bit of hesitation, Bailey glanced over at his mom, LaFonda, who told him the choice was his.
Bailey then obliged. "This is no particular order," LaFonda emphasized.
UCF, Georgia, FSU, South Carolina, Auburn, Texas A&M, Michigan and Notre Dame.
Bailey, the reigning Times offensive player of the year for its four-county coverage area, said he has visited all except Georgia, FSU and Texas A&M. He said he has upcoming trips to Athens and Tallahassee slated.
Bailey (6-foot, 175 pounds), currently ranked the nation's No. 71 rising senior recruit by ESPN, has said he's not sure when he'll choose a college.
"I'll probably do it at the Under Armour (All-America) game (in January), or probably at the beginning of the season, I don't know," said Bailey, the third of four siblings to play for the Hawks. "Just when I wake up and decide."
