Anclote cross country/track standout Argishti Gazari has signed to run at USF, the Bulls announced this week.

The senior has been one of the North Suncoast’s top runners in his high school career. He won district titles last week in the 1600 (4:31.61) and 3200 (9:36.08) and took first in the 800, 1600, 3200 at the conference meet.

Gazari qualified for state in cross country last fall, finishing an area-best 19th in Class 2A.

"Gazari has come a long way since cross country season and will be a state title contender," Bulls coach Dena Reif told GoUSFBulls.com. "He will be our strongest long-distance threat next year."
