Anclote junior quarterback John Forgione is out for the season with a separated shoulder, Sharks coach Matt Wicks said Wednesday morning.

 Forgione sustained the injury in last week’s 13-0 victory over Wesley Chapel. Freshman Brevet Killett will start in Forgione’s place.

Forgione and Killett have alternated series recently, so Killett – a 6-foot, 185-pound runner – should step in well, Wicks said.

“Brevet will be ready,” Wicks said.

Anclote (3-5) will get a boost this week against Hudsonas it tries for its third consecutive win. Left tackle Chris Swindell will return from what was feared to be a season-ending injury.
