Land O’Lakes defensive back Deionte Strozier has committed to Benedict College, he announced via Twitter.

“I Deionté Strozier am proud to announce that I have committed to Benedict college !! Go Tigers #BC18,” he tweeted.

Strozier had five interceptions for the Gators in 2013, and was a Tampa Bay Times’ all-North Suncoast first-teamer and all-Suncoast honorable mention. He received SAC honors, as well.

He is the second Land O’Lakes player in as many weeks to commit to Benedict, joining linebacker Darius Wells.
Benedict is a Division II program in Columbia, S.C. The Tigers went 4-6 last season.
