Seventeen Tampa Bay area rising senior football players have been named to the watch list for the 2012 Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl.

The first-year game, which will include 100 of the best high school seniors in the country, will be played Jan. 3, 2012, in Phoenix. The game will be held in conjunction with Fiesta Bowl week in Arizona.

Again, these are players named to the watch list. Invitations will be handed out at a later date.
