Kent Taylor, who was recently ranked the 34th best Class of 2012 recruit in the nation by veteran national recruiting analyst Tom Lemming, has received a scholarship offer from the University of Arkansas according to Land O'Lakes first year coach Brian Wachtel.

That makes 13 scholarship offers from BCS football programs by our count. The Razorbacks join Alabama, Cincinnati, Florida, Florida State, Kentucky, LSU, Miami, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, Oregon, Penn State and Purdue as suitors for the 6-foot-5, 220 pound tight end's services.

Taylor caught 35 passes for 571 yards and nine touchdowns in 2010 for Land O'Lakes. He has been invited to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, a showcase of  the nation's top senior football recruits, next January in San Antonio, Texas.
