When asked Tuesday which were the top players his team faced this fall, Auburn coach Gene Chizik, in town for the Outback Bowl, went with Alabama RB Mark Ingram, an obvious choice since he won the Heisman Trophy, and Ole Miss RB/WR Dexter McCluster.

McCluster, a Largo High alum, burned the Tigers for 186 rushing yards on 22 carries in an October loss to Auburn.

“He’s one of the best all-around players in the country,”  Chizik said.

The good news for Chiziki?

He won’t have to face McCluster, a senior, again.
