The national recruiting interest in Plant City junior Jordan Prestwood is continuing to rise -- and his coach believes his second SEC offer is near.

Prestwood had been invited to attend Auburn's junior day this weekend, and Plant City coach Jason Strunk said he believes Prestwood is likely to receive an offer from the Tigers over the weekend.

"It's for their top recruits," Strunk said by text message. "At some point, an offer will come."

Plant City participated in Auburn's 7-on-7 camp over the summer, and Prestwood, who plays tight end for the Raiders, immediately impressed.

"They loved him from the moment we got on campus," Strunk said.

Prestwood, a 6-foot-6, 260 pounder, is being recruited as an offensive tackle. He owns offers from West Virginia, South Carolina, Purdue, USF, UCF and FIU. Notre Dame, Tennessee and Michigan State have also made visits.
