Baron gets an offer from the Bulldogs

The latest: Green has picked up every big offer he can from Florida, and now he can say the same about Mississippi after Mississippi State verbally offered him on Tuesday. Green also has an offer from Ole Miss, so he can check that state off his bucket-of-offers list.

Offers: Kentucky, Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, Purdue, USF, Florida State, Florida, Miami, Central Florida, Ohio State, South Carolina, Virginia, Auburn, Mississippi, Clemson, Tennessee,  Arkansas, North Carolina, Mississippi State.

Last season: Green rushed for 1,171 yards on 140 carries (8.4 per carry), scoring 15 rushing touchdowns. He also caught 12 passes for 158 yards and a touchdown. Green also had three return touchdowns.

We say: Green who has 4.4 speed and great explosiveness, is ranked No. 1 in the 2013 class of Tampa Bay by the Times.

They say: Rivals lists Green as the No. 90 prospect in the country.
