Baseball: Alonso 3B Juan Bracamonte signs with Webber

Alonso 3B Juan Bracamonte signed with Webber International, Ravens coach Landy Faedo announced Wednesday.

Bracamonte, who was voted the team's most improved player, led Alonso's regulars with a .429 batting average and two triples. The two-year starter also scored 13 runs, drove in six runs and was a perfect 13-for-13 in stolen base attempts.

Bracamonte is the fourth senior from Alonso to sign this year, joining OF Ryan Valdes (FSU), P Nathan Hahn (USF), OF Joe Gainey (Coker College) and P Nick Alonso (HCC). Three Riverview seniors — Justin RoseChris Gauthier and Derek Jeffery — also committed to Webber, an NAIA school, last week.
