Berkeley 1B Zack Sutton has committed to Allegheny (Pa.) College, coach Justin Houston announced today.

Sutton, who has played varsity playing time since his sophomore year, hit .317 last season with two home runs, seven runs scored and 10 RBIs. He also notched 17 strikeouts in 28.2 innings on the mound.

The Buccaneers (5-2-1), who beat Brandenton IMG Academy earlier this season, play district foe Tampa Catholic (2-4) tonight at 7 p.m.
