Because of the thunderstorms that hit Pinellas County on Wednesday night, only the early game between Berkeley Prep and Dixie Hollins was played at the Georgiadis Memorial Tournament at Seminole. The Buccaneers used a seven-run fifth inning to beat the Rebels 10-7.

Trent Thompson was the winning pitcher for the Buccaneers, and Kenny Barrett paced the offense with a double and a home run.

Matt Harris pitched well for the Rebels but took the loss. Thomas Vickers had a single and triple for Dixie Hollins.

The tournament will resume Thursday with games at Seminole High and Dixie Hollins.
