St. Petersburg third baseman/catcher David Phrathep has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Milligan (Tenn.) College, according to coach Travis Phelps.

Phelps said it is an 80 percent scholarship and that Phrathep has been recruited to play catcher. He has played mostly third base this season.

Phrathep is hitting .231 with four RBIs in 22 games this season for the Green Devils.

Milligan College is an NAIA Christian liberal arts college. The Buffaloes are currently 19-16 overall, 11-10 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference.
