Here's a brief look at this week's Bay Conference Track & Field Meet

When: Thursday; field events at 4 p.m.; running events 5:30 (finals start 30 minutes after the conclusion of prelims).
Where: Shorecrest
Who: Bayshore Christian, Bradenton Christian, Calvary Christian, Cambridge Christian, Indian Rocks Christian ,Keswick Christian, Northside Christian, Seffner Christian, Shorecrest, Tampa Bay Christian.

Athletes to watch

-Katelyn Greenleaf, Northside Christian: Among the state’s top distance runners, she‘ll compete in the 1,600, 3,200 and 4x800.

-Victoria Goodwin, Northside Christian: A standout sprinter and jumper, Goodwin will run hurdles for the first time because a few of her teammates will be out of town.

-Pierce Hutchinson, Calvary Christian: Defending state champion in the 300-meter hurdles is off to a solid start in 2010.

-Hannah Palm, Keswick Christian: Always a factor in any distance event in which she participates.

-Grant Rideout, Northside Christian: One of the state’s elite pole vaulters.

-Philip Tylman, Shorecrest: A standout in the 200 and 400, he performed well at last week’s Crusader Invitational.
