Berkeley Prep shortstop Bubba Olivera, among the team leaders in hitting this past season, has committed to the University of North Florida, coach Justin Houston said Friday.

The rising senior and Times' all-county honorable mention selection, hit .354 with 13 RBIs in 79 at-bats for the Buccaneers. He also had a team-best 14 stolen bases, and went 2-1 on the mound with two saves (2.56 ERA, 13.2 innings).

Division I North Florida went 31-24 this year as part of the Atlantic Sun Conference.
