Friday night will be an important one for RB Bernard Reedy.

Not only does his Lakewood team play at Pasco in the first round of the Class 3A playoffs, but Reedy has been told coaches from both Florida State and Miami will be in attendance to check him out. Thus far, neither school has offered him a scholarship, but both have shown “medium interest,” Reedy said.

The electrifying Reedy has rushed for more than 1,000 yards this season and has scored 15 TDs. He’s also one of the region’s better kickoff returners.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound standout has offers from Colorado State, Iowa, Iowa State Syracuse, Toledo and Troy.

Rivals.com rates him as a three-star prospect.
