A few in-state college football programs are curious to see how Palm Harbor University OT Mark Hansson performs Friday night against Gibbs.

The reason?

He’ll line up against heralded Gibbs DE Tim Jackson, who has scholarship offers from schools such as Auburn, Mississippi and North Carolina.

“USF, FIU and FAU all want film from the game,” PHU coach Mark Haye said. “Tim Jackson is really good, and it should be a good battle between those guys”

Jackson is 6-foot-5, 220 pounds. Hansson goes 6-6, 260.

Colorado State, Florida International and Indiana have offered Hansson, who plays left tackle.
