Tarpon Springs' Louis Pappas and Palm Harbor University's Billy Pavlock will be splitting time at quarterback in the Florida Athletic Coaches Association all-star game Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Fireman's Field in Sebring. Admission is $10.
Pappas and Pavlock are both on the South roster. Pappas was a late addition after Plant City's Bennie Coney decided not to play in the game.
This is the second all-star game in as many weeks that Pavlock and Pappas have split time at quarterback. Last week, they helped the North beat the South 24-16 in the Pinellas senior all-star game.
Other bay area players on the South team for the FACA all-star game include East Lake tight end Stephen Buric, Clearwater Central Catholic offensive lineman Ian Koch and King wide receiver Chris Murray.
