Bishop McLaughlin has hired Reilly Campbell as its next boys basketball coach, Hurricanes athletic director Tom LoSauro announced Wednesday.

Campbell has been an assistant at Oldsmar Christian and Sarasota Out-of-Door Academy. This is his first varsity head coaching job.

The Jacksonville native graduated from Florida State in 2008 and served as the Seminoles' team manager during his time there. He also worked at North Carolina-Charlotte as a graduate assistant in 2009.

Campbell replaces Michael Slonaker, who took Bishop McLaughlin from a one-win team to a 12-10 record last year in his only season. Slonaker became the head coach at Plant after the season.
