Bishop pair sign with Montevallo

Bishop McLaughlin baseball teammates Tanner Koch and Colton Nussel will remain teammates at the next level. The senior right-handers signed with Montevallo (Ala.) today.

Koch was a first-team all-North Suncoast performer last fall after posting a 1.45 ERA and 6-4 record. He also fanned 50 batters in 53 innings and batted .250 with 11 home runs.

Nussel hit .262 last season and scored 16 runs at the plate. He also put up a 2.53 ERA with 47 strikeouts in 38.2 innings.

Montevallo is an NCAA Division II school in the Peach Belt Conference.
