Bishop's Valdespino signs with Nicholls State

Bishop McLaughlin soccer player Spencer Valdespino signed with Nicholls State yesterday.

She led the Hurricanes with 18 goals and 17 assists during her senior year to help Bishop to a 13-6-3 record. She finished her high school career with a school-record 61 goals. She's also a standout golfer who advances to region three years in a row.

Nicholls State is a Division I program in the Southland Conference in Thibodaux, La.
