Boca Ciega star guard Latavia Dempsey is the newest member of the 1,500-point club.

In helping lead the Pirates to another win Thursday night (they’re now 20-1), she scored 22 points against Gibbs.

She now has 1,514 points for her prep career.

According to Boca Ciega coach Will White, Dempsey has drained more than 200 3-pointers.

During Dempsey’s four seasons, the Pirates are 96-15.

The 5-foot-6 standout will play for Florida Atlantic.
