Boca Ciega's Tamara Taylor scored 18 points and had 11 rebounds to lead the Navy team to an 89-84 victory over the White team at the FABC all-star game in Ocala this past weekend.
Taylor, who is going to USF, scored 11 points in the first half. She was the second leading scorer in the game, trailing Pensacola's Ladeya Forte, who had 19 for the White.
Other locals who did well include Jefferson's Laurie' Beaty, who had 15, and Tampa Catholic's Meghan Keough, who had eight points, for the White team. Gulf's Nicole Adams scored eight for the Navy team.
