Seffner Christian basketball standout Devin Paularinne set the school career scoring mark over the holiday break.

Paularinne, a four-year starter for the Crusaders, broke David Norwood's school record on Dec. 28 with his 1,335th career point.

After his 22-point effort in a 66-32 win over Hernando Christian on Tuesday, Paularinne now has 1,375 career points. He also scored a career-high 36 points on Dec. 19 against Shorecrest for the Crusaders, who are 7-4 and winners of three of their past four games.
