At Fort Meade, Tampa Prep (18-6-2) built a 2-0 first-half lead and survived two second-half Fort Meade penalty kicks to advance to within two victories of its fifth state title in eight seasons with a 3-2 victory in the Class A region final.

The Terrapins travel to St. Augustine Saint Joseph Academy for Friday’s state semifinals.
