Former Brandon coach John Lima announced a few more of his seniors have committed to playing college football. DL Dishon Brathwaite will head to Adrian (Mich.) College, a Division III school, and WR Chaz Laidler is off to College of the Desert, a junior college in Palm Desert, Calif.
Brathwaite and Laidler, who caught eight passes for 148 yards and two touchdowns, join DB Jerome Gordon (Heidelberg (Ohio) University and WR Jalen Stringfellow (preferred walk-on at FIU) as Eagles who have finalized their college plans. Additionally, Lima said that OL Joe Markart and DL Vince Motley are planning on attending Heidelberg, which plays Division III and Concordia (Ala.) College, a member of the NAIA.
