More than two months before his first varsity start, Armwood 6-foot-5 QB Darryl Richardson has received his second major college offer.

Richardson, a backup at Tampa Bay Tech last year, has received an offer from Ohio State, Hawks coach Sean Callahan said. Richardson    also was offered by Tennessee earlier this month after Vols assistant Darin Hinshaw filmed the 225-pound underclassman with a phone camera at a spring practice and showed it to UT coaches.

Callahan said Buckeyes receivers coach Stan Drayton, a former Florida assistant who recruits Hillsborough County, and quarterbacks coach Nick Siciliano made the offer. He's the second Hawks rising junior to receive an offer from the Buckeyes, joining S Leon McQuay.
