Berkeley Prep junior golfer Blake Morris , the medalist at Tuesday’s Class A, District 14 tournament at Cheval, is starting to get pretty deep into the recruiting process.
Right now, he’s looking at several colleges, most notably Auburn, Florida, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Wake Forest.
Morris, who shot a 3-over-par 75 Tuesday, boasts a nine-hole average of 36 this fall.
While each of the aforementioned programs has been exceptional through the years, none boasts the alum star power of Wake Forest. Former golfers there include Darren Clarke, Jay Haas, Scott Hoch, Curtis Strange, Lanny Wadkins and the King himself, Arnold Palmer.
