Burchfield signs with College of Central Florida

Pasco senior infielder Sarah Burchfield signed to play softball at the College of Central Florida today, Pirates athletic director Tom McHugh said.

Burchfield batted .310 last season and knocked in 20 runs to help Pasco advance to the region final. She also scored 27 runs and was an honorable mention selection to the Times' all-North Suncoast team.

The College of Central Florida is a junior college in Ocala.
