With National Signing Day approaching, college coaches are making their final pitch to Palm Harbor University OT Mark Hansson.

Tonight, Connecticut coach Randy Edsall is stopping by for an in-home visit.

Tomorrow night, Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen gets his shot.

At last check, Uconn had offered the 6-foot-6, 260-pound Hansson and Mississippi State had not. But the fact the Bulldogs are dropping in likely is a good omen.

Hansson also has offers from Indiana, Colorado State, Florida International and Troy. He will make an official visit to FIU this weekend. That program has been on Hansson for several months.
