Calvary Christian hired Jim Fuller as its boys golf coach on Wednesday.

Fuller, who coached at Palm Harbor University, replaces Greg Climans, who stepped down after two seasons.

In his four seasons as the Hurricanes coach, Fuller led the program to two conference championships, two district titles, one runnerup finish at regionals and a 9th place finish at state (2009). He was named the county coach of the year in 2009.

"The hiring of Coach Fuller is another step in our goal to hire experienced successful coaches to lead our teams," Calvary Christian administrator David Kilgore said in a news release.

After winning district titles from 2007-09 and finishing as a runnerup in 2010, the Warriors will be rebuilding this season after losing two of its top golfers, Lee McCoy and Taylor Hancock.

McCoy's family is moving to Georgia and Hancock is graduating and will play for North Florida.
