Calvary Christian senior outfielder/pitcher Matt Piatt was named the Florida Athletic Coaches Association Class 3A, District 14 Player of the Year.

Piatt hit .543 (50-for-92) and had 36 RBIs for the Warriors, along with 31 runs scored, 18 doubles, three triples and two home runs.

Piatt was also the FACA 3A-14 Player of the Year as a junior. Piatt was selected to play in the Pinellas vs. Hillsborough senior all-star game May 29 at Tropicana Field.
