Calvary RB Derek Barnes signs with Cumberland University

Calvary Christian running back Derek Barnes has committed to Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tenn.

Barnes rushed for more than 1,000 yards last season for the Warriors. He was also a member of the north team in the Pinellas County all-star game.

Cumberland is an NAIA school. The Bulldogs were 8-3 last season.
