Calvary Christian baseball player Matt Piatt was named the Class 3A, District 14 Player of the Year by the Florida Athletic Coaches Association.

Piatt, a junior outfielder and pitcher, hit .400 with 30 RBIs and two home runs to help the Warriors to their first region semifinal. He had a 2.55 ERA in 35 2/3 innings.
