Damarcus Faison, who towers above the rest of Cambridge Christian’s receivers at 6-foot-5, appears to be moving closer to receiving his first scholarship offer from a Division I school.

Faison has drawn interest from the University of South Florida and Princeton, with the latter school wanting him to take a trip up to New Jersey and visit, according to Lancers head coach Bob Dare.  Division I-AA Liberty has already offered, and Faison has been awaiting an offer from Division I Liberty as well. If he elects to accept a Division I offer, Faison will be the first D-I player in the history of Cambridge’s program.

Faison was the team’s second most productive receiver last year with 23 receptions for 377 yards, including four touchdowns.
