Canterbury, the only bay area team to win a softball title this past season, was well-represented in the all-state team released by Miracle Sports.

The Crusaders' Krissy Longstreet was named the Class A player of the year and Jody Moore was named coach of the year. Longstreet, a pitcher and catcher, was named first-team, along with teammates Emily Winesett (pitcher) and Jennifer Crosthwaite (infielder).

East Lake's Alyssa Bache, who led the Eagles to an undefeated regular season and their second straight state semifinal appearance, was named the 5A pitcher of the year. Tampa Catholic's Erin Reynolds was the 3A defensive player of the year.

Other area first-team selections included Newsome's Bailey Schinella and Nicolette Levine, Plant City's Mackenzie Audas, Riverview's Emily Gaitan and Sickles' Mya Anderson in 5A; Tampa Catholic's Erin Reynolds and Berkeley Prep's Jenny Weissman in 3A, Northside Christian's Jessica Anderson in 2A and Hernando Christian's Kala Thompson in A.
