According to Canterbury football coach Steve Dudley, junior RB James Goodwin already is attracting attention from various colleges. Thus far, Central Florida, Middle Tennessee State and Richmond have contacted Dudley about Goodwin. “James is a special player that will draw lots of attention from  programs all across the country,” Dudley said. “He is an explosive player that thrives in the open field.” The 5-foot-8, 170-pound Goodwin had more than 30 plays of 30 or more yards last fall, and averaged nearly 13 yards per carry.
