Canterbury's first home football game, Sept. 7 against Cambridge Christian, has been moved to St. Petersburg Catholic. The move was necessary due to renovations to Canterbury's field. The renovations were supposed to be completed by the start of the season, but according to athletic director Dave Smith, work was delayed due to numerous rain days.

Canterbury also had to move its preseason game against Community School of Naples to St. Petersburg Catholic. Smith expects the Crusaders to play their next scheduled home game, Sept. 21 against Calvary Christian, at their own field.

The Sept. 7 game starts at 7 p.m. Cost is $5 for adults, $2 for students.
