Canterbury’s Bryce Wilson, who plays WR, LB and DB, will make an official visit to Tennessee State on Jan. 29. The Division I-AA program is recruiting the 6-foot-1, 198-pound Wilson as a safety.
According to family, Wilson also has interest from Brown and Oregon State.
Tennessee State QB Dominic Grooms is from Tampa; he played at Middleton.
Wilson, despite also competing in basketball and baseball, carries a 3.8 GPA. Additionally, he holds a part-time job and is an active volunteer in the community.
Last fall, Wilson had 12 catches for 314 yards and five touchdowns. On defense, he totaled 44 tackles and three interceptions.
