Canterbury seniors Brent O'Neal and DaSean Thomas both received offers today from Florida A&M University according to Crusaders head coach Bill Jones.

O'Neal and Thomas were invited to Tallahassee this weekend to attend the Rattlers' homecoming game against Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference foe Howard.

A day earlier, O'Neal ran for 250 yards on 29 carries and scored two touchdowns, including the game winner in the fourth quarter, to lead the Crusaders past district rival Carrollwood Day School. Thomas had a four-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter of that victory.

O'Neal is a 5-foot-11, 190 pound running back and defensive back for Canterbury. Thomas is listed as a 6-foot-3, 210 pound tight end and defensive end on the Crusaders' roster.
