Canterbury's Burgess headed to Binghamton University

Canterbury volleyball player Megan Burgess has signed a letter of intent to play at Binghamton University in Binghamton, N.Y.

Burgess was a four-year starter at middle hitter for the Crusaders. She helped lead Canterbury to four straight district titles and a state final four appearance in her junior year.

Burgess also played basketball for the Crusaders but will focus on volleyball at Binghamton. Binghamton is a Division I program that plays in the America East Conference.
