Canterbury had two girls athletes who signed their national letters of intent to play in college during a ceremony at school Monday.

Courtney Copeland, a five-year starter on the soccer team, signed to play with Southeastern University in Lakeland.

Samantha Burgess, a five-year starter in volleyball, signed with West Alabama. Burgess helped the Crusaders reach the playoffs four times, including the Class A state semifinals in 2010.
