Canterbury's Emily Winesett signs with Haverford

Canterbury pitcher Emily Winesett signed with Haverford College in Pennsylvania last week.

Winesett has played softball for the Crusaders since the sixth grade and appeared in four straight state final fours, including a state title last season. She has been named to the Class A all-state team four times and has 609 career strikeouts.

She also is the school’s valedictorian with a 4.72 weighted GPA
