Canterbury senior football standout Jeremy Dolan took an official visit to Division II Wingate last weekend.

He returned to Tampa Bay with an offer.

The 6-foot-2, 230-pounder played FB and LB at Canterbury, but projects as a DE in college.

Wingate is located in North Carolina.

“Jeremy had a great visit to the campus, and can see himself playing at Wingate,” Canterbury coach Stephen Dudley  said. “Jeremy hit it off with the players and coaches, but will go through with other official visits before making his decision.”

Dolan also is receiving interest from the University of Charleston, Harding, Lenoir-Rhyne and West Chester.
