Canterbury baseball coach Shawn Brown has resigned because of a schedule conflict with his job, athletic director Dave Smith said.

Brown was successful in his two seasons with the Crusaders, guiding them to a district title in 2009 and a runnerup finish last season.

Smith said Canterbury would like to hire a coach by mid-September. Candidates interested in the position should contact the school at 727-521-5919.
