Canterbury receiver/defensive back Bryce Wilson wanted to make sure his signing day ceremony went on without a hitch, so his family decided to hold it at Mount Zion Missionary Progressive Baptist Church.
"i feel like my signing was a real blessed event," Wilson said. "I wanted to have it here and that might make it a good sign that I'll do well."
Wilson had offers from Wofford, William & Mary, Presbyterian and Charleston Southern. He chose Tennessee State because it is a program on the rise.
It seems like there's a lot of talented players there," Wilson said. "I think we can turn some heads."
Last season, Wilson had more than 400 yards receiving and on defensive had three interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns.
