Clearwater Central Catholic offensive tackle Anthony Walker broke his collarbone and will miss 6-8 weeks, Marauders coach John Davis said via text message.

Walker, a sophomore, was starting to come along on a young but improved offensive line. His absence comes at a bad time with this week's game against undefeated Palm Harbor University looming as well as every district game after that.

"With PHU this week, that's a spot we can't afford to lose," Davis said in a text message. "Anthony is a player who is really smart and really starting to come into his own. This stings."
