Katie Moore, a 6-foot-3 junior middle hitter for Clearwater Central Catholic, has committed to Wake Forest.

As a sophomore, Moore played a major role in the Marauders' run to the state semifinals. She averaged 2.4 kills and 1.4 blocks per game.

Moore chose Wake Forest over several schools, including Georgia Tech and Notre Dame. Wake Forest was 11-21 last season and 5-15 in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
