Clearwater Central Catholic fullback/linebacker Conner Dorris picked up an offer from Akron, Marauders coach John Davis said.

It is the third offer for Dorris. Old Dominion and the Citadel are the others.

Dorris, a senior who transferred from Palm Harbor University in the spring, is tied with three other Marauders for the team lead in rushing touchdowns with four and is second in tackles with 58.

“Conner has played a huge role for us,” Davis said. “I expect the interest from schools to pick even more in the next few weeks.”
