Clearwater Central Catholic will most likely go into Friday's Class 3A, District 5 opener against Tampa Catholic without two of its top skill players.

Marauders running back Michael Stevenson is out for the second straight game after doctors did not clear him from a concussion he sustained three weeks ago.

Wide receiver/defensive back Tre Larry will be a game time decision because of an ankle injury that caused him to miss last week's game. CCC coach John Davis said Larry did not practice much this week.

"We're really beat up right now," Davis said. "I know no one is going to feel sorry for us. We just have to go with what we've got."
